Rolex
founder Hans Wilsdorf launched the Tudor Watch Company in 1946 in an
effort to offer the public reliable timepieces at affordable prices.
Since 2015, Tudor has been manufacturing in-house movements to much
acclaim.
Tudor keeps things simple…and simply remarkable.
Always
one to excel in back-to-basics design strategies, this Black Bay 54
dive piece will serve you well, on land and exploring the watery deep.
First,
its fabulous 200 m / 20 atm water resistance allows you to go where you
please, and the screw-down winding crown and unidirectionally rotating
bezel with 10-minute increments ensures you arrive in one piece.
Gold-tone
luminous hands and applied luminous hour markers make for easy viewing
in low light. The minute track in orange is especially dashing against
the deep black-color dial.
The
stainless steel case measures 37 mm in diameter, 11.2 mm in height, and
rests upon a black rubber strap with a folding buckle. There is a domed
scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
As
a self-winding automatic timepiece, this watch is driven by Tudor’s own
MT5400 caliber, which is an officially certified chronometer and
delivers 28,800 vph, possesses 27 jewels, and gives you a generous 70
hours of power.
From
its expert craftsmanship to its classic stylings, we believe this Tudor
Black Bay 54 will make a solid addition to your collection.
Standout feature(s): Fabulous 200 m / 20 atm water resistance; convenient 70-hour power reserve; certified chronometer accuracy.
