silversmith, founded Bvlgari in Rome in 1884; today manufacturing takes

this Bvlgari Aluminium and Titanium Sorayama Special Edition watch is a
brilliant collaborative effort between Roman Maison and artist Hajime
Sorayama. As a limited-edition timepiece, only 1,000 pieces were made.
The lovely silver-toned dial shows off a
dynamic and lovely perlage decoration, as well as applied stick hour
markers and a date window at 3. Rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are
luminous, as are dots around the indices, which make for easy viewing
in low light.
The DLC-treated aluminium case measures
40 mm in diameter, 9.40 mm in height, and rests upon a cool black
rubber strap with aluminium inserts and aluminium tang buckle while the
aluminium bezel is covered in black rubber emblazoned with Bvlgari’s
iconic logo lettering. There is also a DLC-coated titanium push / pull
winding crown.
Additional features include a closed
titanium-coated case back with the Sorayama logo and a 100 m / 10 atm
water resistance. The self-winding automatic mechanical manufacture
caliber delivers a convenient 42-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800
vph.
