Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf launched the Tudor Watch Company in 1946 in an effort to offer the public reliable timepieces at affordable prices. Since 2015, Tudor has been manufacturing in-house movements to much acclaim.

A fixed smooth satin-brushed stainless steel bezel graces the smooth satin-finished stainless steel case, which measures 39 mm in diameter and 11 mm in height. No nonsense and as smooth as can be—welcome to the minimalist’s dream.

The black-colored dial continues the dialogue in elegance with printed luminous Arabic and stick hour markers. Bold luminous hands, including a luminous red-tipped center arm are balanced and in proportion to the handsome surroundings.

This Ranger by Tudor does one thing—that is, simply tell the time—and it does it impeccably well. In the engine room we encounter the manufacture caliber MT5402, which holds COSC chronometer certification and delivers a convenient 70-hour power reserve.
